NaLHISA Debuts at IATF 2025!

We are delighted to announce that the National Liberation Heritage Institute of South Africa (NaLHISA) will be showcasing its work at the upcoming Intra-African Trade Fair (IATF 2025), taking place in Algiers, Algeria, from 4 to 10 September 2025. This marks our very first time exhibiting at the IATF and is a milestone we are proud to share.

The IATF is Africa’s premier platform for connecting businesses, governments, investors, and innovators to drive forward the continent’s trade and industrial growth. It provides a unique space to foster collaboration, explore investment opportunities, and strengthen the pathways to Africa’s collective economic transformation.

At our exhibition booth, visitors will have the opportunity to explore our digitised archive of South Africa’s liberation heritage, featuring curated stories, historical materials, photographs, and multimedia content. The exhibition is guided by our theme “Memory, Liberation and Future: Africa’s Liberation in Motion” and highlights the shared struggles and solidarity that shaped the continent’s history while demonstrating how heritage can inform Africa’s present and future development.

We are grateful to our partners, Robben Island, Iziko Museum, Nelson Mandela Museum, Freedom Park, University of Fort Hare, Department of Sports, Arts, and Culture, Afreximbank, whose support has been instrumental in making our participation at IATF 2025 possible. Their collaboration strengthens our exhibition and ensures we can present South Africa’s liberation heritage in a compelling and impactful way.

We look forward to engaging with peers, forging new partnerships, and sharing insights on how together we can build a stronger and more connected Africa.
